Bear

Black BearBlack Bear

Guided bear hunting can be done with bait and/or hounds.

Baited Bear Hunts

Bait hunting lasts four weeks beginning in the last week of August and continuing through the third week of September. There is a maximum of ten hunters in camp during bait season.

Our treestands are 12 foot double stands or 15 foot single stands. We place our stands and blinds to complement your choice of weapon and physical needs.

Our bait sites are 12 to 30 yards from the tree stands. Fifty-five gallon drums are used so hunters can judge the size of the bear. All bait sites are maintained daily.
